a few words about the cover house

The conceptual proposal developed by Xavier Lersy for a plot size of 500 m2 (20 x 25 m) suggests a modern approach by delivering a unique experience for one entire family. Indeed, as the distribution of rooms and features is done on 4 floors, it provides all facilities for the family and welcoming guests. The 4 bedrooms, with closets and bathrooms, are ideal for kids while the master suite of 72 m2 gives tremendous comfort for the parents. The available space is quite pleasant and a garden roof of 95 m2 at the second floor will be perfect for enjoying the weather at the fall or spring season. 

The external design is done with a cladding solution, that reflects stone and wooden textures, along with aluminum railing panels for privacy and decorative works. Thanks to the shape of the house and the introduction of a void space, the family can enjoy the courtyard of 106 m2 with a swimming-pool (optional) along with plantations. The inner space also benefits from privacy: the house «protects» or «covers» the tenants.

Also, the set of layouts will be helpful to initiate the process at the Municipality in your country and approaching a structural engineering office for drafting the structural proposal and calculation as well.
